Wedding Crashers

Ask Steve Pawlowski, Cliff Ponish, Jennifer Lewandowski how they enjoyed their 20th reunion.  You can ask them about the following:

1. The giant floral centerpieces that they all took home.
2. Steve singing back-up and playing tambourine with the band.
3. Steve dancing with grandma in front of the stage.

I’m sure Meagan and Matthew had a wedding to remember.  Maybe not with 700+ guests!

Thank you!

I wanted to thank everyone who turned out for our 20th reunion celebrations!  Friday night at the school ended up being our biggest night.  I’m still trying to figure out where everyone came from, classmates kept pouring into the teacher’s lounge.  Also, I’m completely amazed that the keg was empty within two hours!  I guess not much has changed.  We were also joined by Mrs. Linda Bacho, Ms. Nadine Pekarak and our chaperone, Sr. Catherine (who stayed up way past her bedtime).  You people wouldn’t leave!

The last few people left the school around 11pm and headed over to the Maple Grove.  I really don’t think anyone wanted the night to end.

Saturday night was our dinner at the Landerhaven.  The dinner and desserts were fantastic and the bartender didn’t get a break.  There were a few weddings going on at the same time and supposedly Terry Bradshaw attended one of them (700 people).  We have quite a few “wedding crashers” in our class.  Hopefully I can get the picture of Steve Pawlowski dancing with the bride.

Sunday the bishop held the noon mass at St. Monica’s.  We shared the mass with some veterans and were referred to as the class of 1983.  He was getting the name of the veterans wrong too.  Oh well!  We had a nice number of classmates and their families in attendance.  Ms. Theresa Bindokas also joined our group.

I want to thank the following people for making our reunion a reality:

Mark Smith for creating this website.

Kelli (Zaranka) Rafferty for lighting the fire under Cheri and I to get things moving.  She also found many, many people and sent out a reminder a few weeks prior.

Rhonda (Schocin) Advent for the fabulous food on Friday night.

Debbie (Nolan) Peterson for arranging our after party at the Maple Grove.

Jimmy (Vidovic) Justice for finding the fantastic dj for Saturday night.

Shelley (Syroney) Evans for donating the centerpieces for our big dinner.

Dan Wetzel for organizing the mass at St. Monica’s.

Cheri Zadow for being my co-partner in crime in organizing this entire event.  Without you Cheri and Perry it would not have been possible!                        Â

So It’s Been 20 Years - Feel Old Yet?

Welcome to the THS 1988 Reunion Website. We figured having our own website would make it easy to keep everyone updated on the events scheduled for the weekend of August 8th through the 10th.

The site is still a work in progress. The message forum isn’t configured just yet. (It will be soon.)

We’ll also be adding an easy way to lookup who’s currently planning on attending.

If you have questions about the reunion that aren’t answered here on the site please drop us an email to info@ths1988reunion.com.
